Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RupyaSetu mobile application, website (rupyasetuadmin.site), or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Vendor", "you") and RupyaSetu ("Company", "we", "our", "us").

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services
  • You must be a resident of India
  • You must have a valid Indian mobile number for account registration
  • For AEPS services, you must complete the merchant registration process and comply with all KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

3. Account Registration

3.1 Registration Process

To use our Services, you must register an account by providing your mobile phone number and verifying it via a One-Time Password (OTP). You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must not share your OTP or login credentials with any third party
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access due to your failure to secure your account

4. Services

4.1 Mobile Recharge

We facilitate prepaid and postpaid mobile recharges through authorized API partners. Recharge amounts are deducted from your vendor wallet balance. Successful recharges are processed instantly, subject to operator availability.

4.2 DTH Recharge

We facilitate Direct-to-Home (DTH) television recharges for supported operators including Tata Play, Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV, Sun Direct, and others. DTH recharges follow the same wallet deduction process as mobile recharges.

4.3 AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System)

AEPS services include cash withdrawal, balance enquiry, and mini statement services. These services require:

  • Completion of merchant onboarding and registration
  • A certified biometric device for Aadhaar authentication
  • Compliance with NPCI and RBI guidelines for AEPS operations
  • Sufficient wallet balance for processing transactions

4.4 UPI Payments

We accept UPI payments for wallet recharges. Users must submit a valid UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number for payment verification. All UPI payments are subject to admin approval before being credited to the wallet.

4.5 Vendor Wallet

The vendor wallet is a pre-paid digital balance used to process transactions. Wallet credits are added upon admin-approved recharges. Commissions on successful transactions are automatically credited to the wallet.

5. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information for all transactions
  • Maintain sufficient wallet balance before initiating transactions
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and RBI guidelines
  • Not use the Services for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes
  • Ensure that AEPS transactions are conducted only for genuine customers with valid Aadhaar credentials
  • Report any transaction discrepancies or issues promptly

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the security of our platform
  • Submit false or misleading transaction information
  • Use another person's account or identity without authorization
  • Circumvent any wallet balance checks or transaction limits
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Services
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Services without authorization

7. Commissions

Vendors earn commissions on successful transactions as per the prevailing commission structure. Commission rates may vary by service type (recharge, AEPS, etc.) and may be updated from time to time. Commissions are automatically deducted from transaction amounts and credited to the vendor wallet.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and intellectual property associated with RupyaSetu are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

RupyaSetu acts as a facilitator for recharge and banking services. We are not liable for failures caused by third-party service providers, telecom operators, or banking networks.

  • We are not responsible for transaction failures caused by operator downtime, network issues, or incorrect details provided by the user
  • Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount of the specific transaction in question
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity on your account
  • You fail to comply with KYC requirements for AEPS services
  • Required by law or regulatory authority

Upon termination, any remaining wallet balance (after deducting pending obligations) will be refunded to your registered bank account within 15 business days.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of our Services shall be resolved as follows:

  1. Amicable Resolution: Both parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication via support@rupyasetu.com
  2. Mediation: If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to mediation
  3. Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute shall be settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in India

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance.
